Google Slides
Google Slides
I found Google Slides on the Technologies Table in the PowerPoint, “T3PP Technologies for Resource and Blogging.” I chose Google Slides because this is a tool that I am familiar with and I really like.
Google Slides is a presentation program. Google Slides allows you to make PowerPoints that can be presented for free.
Ease of Use
Google Slides are very easy to use. According to Ciccarelli (n.d.) Google Slides are as easy to use as PowerPoint and keynote. Google Slides also allow participants to share documents with others. Google Slides is actually known for its ease of use. This is because everything is laid out in a user-friendly way. There are many different options to choose from when it comes to Slides and they are easy to find.

Versatility
Google Slides are fairly versatile. This is because teachers can use it to plan out their days. It can be used as an agenda for teachers. There are benefits for using Google Slides as well for the students. Teachers can display the information they want students to obtain on each of the slides (Staake, 2020). Students can also create a PowerPoint on Google Slides for one of their projects. Students can also do group projects with Google Slides. This will help students develop teamwork skills. Teachers can also vary their resources by embedding videos, articles, or even audio clips into their slideshows.
Likelihood of Using
I am very likely to use Google Slides in my classroom. This is because it is very easy to use and I am familiar with it. It is also very versatile and I can use it for planning and instructing.
Connection to Course
This connects to the “7 Events of Technology” because Google Slides can be used to gain the attention of students and present the content. Google Slides can be used to gain the attention of students by having them watch a video that is embedded into one of the slides. Teachers can use the first slide to gain students' attention by playing a game, showing a picture, or starting off with a discussion prompt. Google Slides can be used to present the content of the course through the slideshow. The teacher can create a slideshow with the material that they are wanting to present to the class. The teacher can then present this material via slideshow. This allows for students to clearly see the material that needs to be conveyed to the class. Teachers can make their lessons engaging as well by embedding videos and activities into the Google Slideshow. For example, if teachers are educating students in addition, they may include pictures and videos to help students visually. Google Slides is a great platform for students who are visual learners.
Google Slides connects to the TLC framework of "T1-Planning" and "T3-Instructing." Teachers can use Google Slides to plan for their days. Teachers can create a slide for each section of their day. It is a planning tool that educators can share with others. This could be parents, students, or even other teachers. Google Slides connects to the instruction portion of the TLC framework because it can be used to present slides. Teachers can present the material they will be teaching the class on Google Slides. Again, pictures and videos can be embedded for students as well. This is very similarly used to the “7 Events of Technology” instructional phase.

Hey Haley, I thought that google slides was nice to know you could create a PowerPoint from them and have that sharing option. Being able to draw student attention with engaging videos or picture to demonstrate for lessons. I think is is interactive for all grades because of this engaging feature it brings. I also agree on with using in the classroom since it is a very efficient and easy tool to use.
